To support the growth of PETKUS Selecta and more specific our high technology solutions in optical sorting, we are hiring a customer focussed Service Engineer Mechatronics.

Job description

As a Service Engineer Mechatronics you will do maintenance and repair work at our customers’ location. You independently take care of the installation and commissioning of machines and you are able to handle malfunctions.

Your job is different every day. You will work for various customers. One moment you train customers in the software of our machines, the next moment you find a solution for a mechanical malfunction of a conveyor belt or an electrical malfunction in the PLC cabinet.

You will be working in a small team and the PETKUS Selecta mentality is “hands-on”. You will often co-operate with our colleagues in Germany and you will work both from our location in Hem and at our customers worldwide.

What can you offer us?

• You have at least a completed technical mbo education, preferably in mechatronics
• You have working experience for at least 3 years
• You are able to read wiring diagrams and you are familiar with  I/O modules (CAN, EtherCat)
• You are familiar with basic knowledge of Windows 10 (log system, BIOS)
• You do speak English, German is an advantage
• You are an easy communicator, always willing to help out and customer focussed
• You work accurately and very precise
• You always try to find solutions and thrive for the best result
• You have a valid driver's licence (B)
